I’m John Dougherty, a professional tattoo artist based in Columbia City, Indiana. I specialize in creating bold, custom tattoos with a focus on black and grey, detailed illustrative work, and strong contrast. I also specialize in unique and vibrant patch style tattoos.

For me, tattooing is about more than putting an image on someone’s skin. I want every piece to feel intentional, personal, and built specifically for the person wearing it. Whether you come to me with a fully developed idea or just a concept you’ve been kicking around, I’ll work with you to turn it into something you’ll be proud to wear for life.

I’m constantly pushing myself to improve my craft, experiment with new ideas, and create tattoos that stand out. Your skin is the canvas. Let’s make something worth keeping.
